This Northeastern Night Scene Painting, "Moonlight Over Hay Bales," was created during the First Annual Ithaca Festival Paint Off, a gathering 30 of Ithaca's finest visual artists into a huge space on the third floor of the CSMA building in downtown Ithaca, amidst a cocktail party, loud 1977 music, emceed by the WHCU morning news team, in which all artists were given 60 minutes to create their masterpiece, all to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Ithaca Festival (May 31 - June 3, 2007); one hour to complete and frame a painting. So here is my "masterpiece! This artwork received a Paint Off Award for "Most Enchanted."

I wish I could be in a paint off every week, I painted night scenes with a fever for a solid month afterwards. This painting was done prior to night scenes, 188, 189, 190.
