In this Interdisciplinary Stillife Painting,
"Lovers' Crossing," an original oil on panel, I was
interested in bringing together the elements of things that separate
lovers and bring them together. First a folk song then the painting.
In this work I began to dare to bring in original words. I had
not learned to read music yet or I would have included at least
a sample of the melody into the subject matter. |
