In this Surreal Painting, "Time and Space," an original oil on panel, I wanted to express the elements of time and space by creating an arrangement that showed "Man" involved in time and space, and to acknowledge that we can only see a glimpse into someone else's life on their voyage into the future through their own time and space. I painted the second version much larger than the first in order to promote the feel of space. I will always feel that this is one of my most sucessful paintings. This No.111 as shown is the second version; the first version is No. 153. (Yes, I know the numbers are backwards) |
