- In this Northeastern Night Scene Painting,
"Uncle Rod's Moon" I was trying to speak to that feeling
of something great about yesterdays world of farming and the
goodness and the solidness of the examples of what got us here
and what feels like a whole world slipping past us. I thought
of my Uncle Rod's goodness, solidness and absence during part
of this painting. The inspiring old barn and farm are close to
Newfield, NY
