In this original, 18" x 24" oil painting on panel, titled "Don't Loose Your Marbles" I was revisiting my childhood and re-coveting the marbles that once drew me into their inner world of cat eyed swirling menageries of nebulae forming and wrestling into shapes forever trapped inside once liquid glass now frozen in time like thoughts of when a great and beautiful marble was the ultimate pride in the eye of my youth. Perhaps these marbles are an allagory about the what we should not loose as we travel through our stages of life,,,,,,,,,, |
